Congratulations Heegyu in grade 4. This is his runner up (2nd place) piece of artwork from the Korean community art competition here in Singapore. The theme was Beautiful Korea. Fantastic art Heegyu!! Beautiful Korea by HeegyuThis drawing is in the Korean east sea.(also called Japanese sea but I don't agree) First, I draw in the Korean school and I got a prize. Then, the drawing was send to the group of Korean people that live in Singapore. Then they picked some people from there. Well done all Elementary school children on a really exciting, creative art show. I would like to share some of the comments written in our Elementary guest book. Well done, good job! We made the cards using banana paper, decorative filigree leaves and liner pens that can be used to make relief patterns.

Prior to independence Singapore had over 30 Dragon Kilns to produce ceramics for a wide range of purposes. Plates, bowls, terracotta pots, ornamental ware. You can visit the shop and studio which are within easy reach of each other. Take a taxi from Boon Lay MRT approximately 10 minutes. |
